This quote from a famous quote by Abraham Lincoln was taken from a speech he gave in 1858. To understand his words, we must first understand what he meant by sin. Lincoln believed that to be a Christian, one must have a conscience that is free from sin. The Bible calls this being “without sin” or being “without blemish.” In other words, Christians should not commit any kind of sin.
